Don’t Forget This Week’s Healing Seminar with Joaquin Evans!!

Dear Unified… family,

Surprise!! Long time no connect! I thought it was time to write as so much has been happening at Unified …

Pastors Aaron, Michelle, and our 5 youth leaders returned home from an awesome time in California. They attended their youth camp! From reports I have been receiving, we have so much to be proud of for our youth team and their fearless leaders, Aaron and Michelle. In a nutshell, their part in leadership and attendance helped to set the climate and standard for the camp. They were shining examples of the Aloha Spirit! In fact, they have already been invited back next year as youth counselors! Wow!

Pastors John and I are back after a tremendous time in Irvine CA. The Lord used our time their to activate things in the spirit. We spoke at a Healing conference as the key note speakers, then ministered in different churches on Sunday. It was a short but powerful time. People were not only healed, but challenged to step it up for the Lord. As a result of our time there, a greater stirring for the nations has been imparted. Pastor John received a Horagai shell and I was presented an authentic First Nations arrow and a medicine pouch with anointing oil. The best part was to see old friends and make new ones!

Chris Fujino also returned from a trip to Japan. Chris shared that he felt at home the whole time he was there! I think Chris is even more Japanese now!

While we were gone Rod, Reshel, Janice, and Wayne did and outstanding job leading the church. I heard Wayne’s message on Sunday was amazing! It is so good to be a part of a team who at any time can step in and lead and we don;t skip a beat! Is the future? May be! I do envision teams going out and being in different places of the world every week extending the Kingdom. Last week was a first step towards this!

Our faithful church secretary stepped down into retirement (smile!) on June 30th! Annina will be missed but we are excited for this new chapter in her life! School! Pastor Kerry will be joining our staff as a full-time employee and leaving JAL after 22 years of service there. Her last day at JAL is July 31, but Kerry has already begun the transition into her new position.

Carrie Miyahara will be serving as a part time employee, helping with the office and the accounting.

So as we transition. we ask your patience during this time. It isn’t an easy task replacing a person like Annina who has been a secretary of the church for over 14 years. She’s one of a kind!

Having such a mature family at Unified … who has become so dependent on the Lord and not on a man is a blessing beyond measure! Yesterday was July 4th and Roger Nagata declared in our morning prayer time that it was Dependence Day on the Lord! That’s the way God always meant things to be!

Don’t forget LMI’s Free Healing Seminar this week Wednesday to Friday, 6:30 pm at our facility. NO registration required! Sponsored by Laulima Ministries International.

Pastor Dean
